Retracts For the Tony Nijhuis 72" Boeing B17 Flying Fortress

Bespoke 72" B-17 Flying Fortress retracts.

Just in our new lightweight air retracts for the B-17 Flying Fortress. These units are ideal for builder who want to keep their build as light a possible and below the target 7lb (3.2kg) AUW for the model. The whole retract system including wheels only weighs 7oz (200g) in total. The legs are pre bent 3mm spring wire and we have selected a near scale wheel which we're sure will do your finished B-17 the justice it deserves.
Please note that these retract are 'spring air' operation which means they 'air' operate up and spring down. If your build weight is likely to exceeding the target weight for the model as stated on the plan, we therefore suggest you source a more robust air operated retract to deal with the extra weight
