A superb builders model.
The DC3 Dakota makes into
beautiful scale model with
a host of world wide liveries
to choose from.
Fully built up construction
using balsa and plywood.
The fuselage is built over
the plan using a former
and stringer build up and
rolled balsa sheeted finish.
The wings are a built-up
structure of ribs over a
main spar and balsa sheeted.
The tail is a simple 6mm
sheet balsa outline and
forms part of the CNC pack
available.
Originally designed to fly
using two 600 size brushed
motors through gearboxes
but this beauty really deserves
a brushless motor setup
and Lipo batteries.
The model is designed for
retractable undercarriage.
Plan and VAC formed cowls,
nacelles and nose cone are
available, as is a CNC pack
and wood pack.
The CNC pack includes, ply
fuselage formers, spine
and doublers, balsa tailplane
and fin, balsa wing ribs
and the nacelle structure.
Please Note
Although we carry selective
