Similar in construction to most of my 'war birds' this model is a real joy to build and a thrill to fly. There's a saying that if it looks right, it will fly right and this version of the FW190A epitomises this saying to a tee.

I would even say she flies better than all the Spitfires in my range! This 'A' version was designed around original 3-veiw drawings of the FW190A and as a consequence has a true scale appearance which should satisfy the to 'true scale' modellers out there.

Design for 1000watt electric motor but could easily be converted to IC power for a 60-90 2 or 4 stroke glow engine.

The model has been designed around commercial 120 size 85deg electric powered retracts, These are now available through this web site. The plans are full size, reproduced on two very large sheets of quality paper and not as supplied free with the RCM&E magazine.

Canopy, cowl and a front turtle deck are now available as is a CNC pack of cut parts and wood pack to complete the model. The CNC pack includes fuselage formers, the lower fuselage sides, balsa tail plane parts and ply wing ribs.
