It was in 2015 when we launched our 42" span Hawk and it proved to be a great success. However, many of you said it would be great to have a slightly larger version to accommodate the large and more powerful range of 90mm fan now available... So we listened and did what you asked.

Construction, as with all of our models is traditional so no foam anywhere, just good old fashioned balsa and plywood.

The plans are full size and reproduced on two large sheets of quality paper and not the 'free plan' quality, supplied with the 2017 RCM&E Special magazine.

A VAC set is available which include the canopy, nose cone and the air intake fairings.

As with all our models a CNC pack and wood pack to complete the model, is available. (Please note that the wood pack assumes you are using the CNC pack in conjunction).

The CNC pack includes all fuselage formers, fuselage side parts, the tail and fin pieces, the wing ribs plus additional parts.

We have also sourced retract units for this model which have been adjusted and tested to suit the design. These are available to buy from our website.

Note: if you operate from a restricted flying site (less than a 50m strip) or your runway is not smooth and well cut, you will have problems taking this model off due to small jet style wheels we supply with the retract units.

Finally, to assist the building of this model, we have made available free down loads of the build article and a set of build photos.
