The Mosquito has always been a favourite model of Tony and so it was only a matter of time before this 'big' beauty joined the TND stable! Because we wanted to make this design a little more authentic, we set the design bar a little higher than usual and endeavoured to make this model one of our best scale plans of recent times. This meant the design had to be exacting; scale retracts, working UC doors, flaps and of course a build that would satisfy the high expectation of the scale connoisseur.

The construction of the Mosquito as with all our models is traditional, so no foam anywhere, just good old fashioned balsa and plywood.
The plans are full size and reproduced on two very large sheets of quality paper.

A VAC form set is available which includes a canopy, two spinners and a nose cone. As with all our models, a CNC pack and wood pack are available to complete the model. (Please note that the wood pack assumes you are using the CNC pack in conjunction). The CNC pack includes all fuselage formers, fuselage sides, the wing ribs, fin & tail plane parts, nacelle parts plus much more.

We have also manufactured (main) retractable undercarriage sets for this model. These include electric retracts units, twin oleo legs and scale 125mm light weight aluminium hub wheels.

To assist the building of this model, we have made available a free download of the build article used in the 2015 RCM&E Special.

As per usual, we have worked with 4-Max who have put together a bespoke electric flight package which also includes a 3-bladed prop option. This package, can only be sourced direct from 4-Max.co.uk.

Lastly and possibly the most important point to make, a photographic build log is available as a free download to print out. These photos will be invaluable and we would suggest downloading these before you start work so you can familiarise yourself with the build.

Although we carry selective stock, we generally print and manufacture to order so deliveries may take up to 28 days to reach you from point of order. Also delivery of plans, some plastic parts and CNC wood packs will be sent as separate consignments.
