Identical in construction to the 62” Spitfire we produced and previewed in the June 2007 edition of the RCM&E. This Mk5 version has a true scale appearance, with a fully built up fuselage, wing and tailplane.
Designed for 1.20 size IC engines but can easily be converted to electric
power.
The model has been designed to use the small Unitract International air
retracts.
The plans are full size, reproduced on two very large sheets of quality
paper.
Plans, canopy and a cowl are available as is a CNC pack and wood pack.
The CNC pack includes, fuselage formers and sides, balsa tailplane parts
and ply wing ribs.
Electric retracts for our 72” span Spitfire uses all metal electric retract units which connects directly to your receiver. Superb quality sprung oleo legs and scale Robart wheels. These retracts units are a replacement to the Unitracts air system used on our prototype.
