32" Concorde by Tony Nijhuis

The Concorde has always been a favourite model of Tony's and so it was only a matter of time before this beauty joined the TND stable!

With the new generation of 11-bladed 50mm EDF units available from FMS and Powerfun, it has allowed Concorde to become a reality.

The construction of the Concorde as with all of our models, is traditional so no foam anywhere, just good old fashioned balsa and lite plywood.

The plans are full size and reproduced on one very large sheet of quality paper. A VAC form set is available which include the nose cockpit and drop snoot. As with all our models a CNC pack and wood pack, to complete the model, is available. (Please note that the wood pack assumes you are using the CNC pack in conjunction). The CNC pack includes all the fuselage formers, the wing ribs, the fin parts, the nacelle parts plus some additional parts.

We have also had manufactured, bespoke retractable undercarriage which include electric retracts units, oleo legs and wheels. The wheels are quite small so a well mown flying strip will be required for this model.

As per usual, we have worked with 4-Max who have put together a bespoke electric flight package which include the 50mm 4S EDF units. This package, can only be sourced direct from www.4-Max.co.uk and not through us.

Lastly, there is a photographic build log is available as a free download to print out. These photos will be invaluable and we would suggest downloading these before starting your model, so you can familiarise yourself with the build.
